The Difference between Brand-Name and Generic Viagra

Just like in pretty much any field that sells a product, you’ll always find brand-name products and alternatives that are more or less generic. Viagra doesn’t stray away from this rule either and there’s a good chance you might have noticed ads on the Internet saying that a particular company sells “quality generic Viagra at extremely low prices”. At first, especially if you think about this problem in the same terms you would think about a product from a different category, it might seem like the generic Viagra offer is not something you would want to invest trust in. After all, in terms of sneakers for example, buying a pair of Adidas will definitely be more durable than buying a pair of generic sneakers from the local cheap shop.

While the example above might be very true with sneakers and a large amount of other products, it definitely doesn’t apply in its fullest sense to Viagra. Although many speculations exist about the lower quality of generic Viagra, the truth is that generic pills can be equally effective and safe as brand-name ones. Actually, in most cases, generic Viagra contains the exact amount of quality, power, purity and composition that you would find in brand-name pills.

The main difference between the two, just like with sneakers is that the brand name somewhat guarantees the quality of the product, whereas generic ones may have slip-ups every now and then. Some pairs of “generic” sneakers might have the same quality as branded ones, but it’s not a guarantee and we tend to see it as a matter of luck when we get one of these good pairs.

Unfortunately, although reputable companies producing generic Viagra strive to push quality pills on the market, there are also oil-haired scammers out there that will try to game this multimillion dollar industry and brag that they sell “high quality”Viagra at the cheapest rates, when in fact their products might be ineffective, or even dangerous to your health.

If that’s the case then, how do you pick the bad generic Viagra from the good one? That’s an extremely difficult question and I’m afraid the answer is very blurry. Your best bet is to do a lot of research prior to buying generic Viagra, documenting yourself on the company selling it, what past and present users have to say about the pills and whether or not they are completely open (as in: they don’t juggle around with shady businesses).

If you’re not certain that what you’re going to buy is safe or effective, ask a doctor for advice. I know it’s difficult to go see a doctor with this kind of problem and maybe secrecy was the whole point of buyingthe generic Viagra off the Internet, but it’s better to swallow your pride for a bit than risk buying something that could put you in a more embarrassing scenario, when you least expect it.
