Lose Weight with Exercise and Hoodia Gordonii
For many years I searched for the magic solution or diet which would allow me to lose the extra 50 pounds of weight I’ve been packing around my waist since my late teenage years. However, to date, I have yet to find such as diet or a miracle weight loss cure.
I’ve tried many different types of diets including Jenny Craig, weight watchers, and of course the famous diet by Dr. Atkins. In all fairness though, I must admit that I probably could have lost weight but I just could not get myself to commit to such strict diet guidelines. I often found myself thinking about my favorite foods and occasionally (ok, more often than not) would allow myself to indulge.
Eventually things were so bad that I often found myself running out of breath after climbing a simple flight of stairs. My pants got tighter and bigger in size. And one day, about eight months ago, as I was getting ready to plop by butt down in my chair at work, two buttons from my favorite shirt came popping off. This was my wake up call and I new I had to do something to lose weight and fast.
I consulted with a “buff” friend of mine and he went on to explain; the formula to loosing weight is simple, he said, either decrease the number of calories you take in or burn more calories or better yet do both. I didn’t exactly follow but he went on to explain. You can decrease your caloric intake by eating less he said (surprise, surprise) or you can start a exercise program which involves lifting some weights and doing cardio exercises to burn more calories.
Exercising to lose weight part didn’t sound too bad because we have a small gym in my apartment complex (rarely used by anyone), but how do I control my eating. I’ve been conditioned from a young age that food is good, you need as much as you can to grow and get strong and taller. The only problem now is that at my age (32) I was only getting wider not taller. I’m pretty sure I stopped growing taller quite some time ago. So I went back to my buddy for some more friendly weightloss advice.
He told me that there are two types of weight loss supplements which really help shed the pounds once coupled with some regular exercise. He talked about fat binders and hunger suppressants. Fat binders are taken before a meal and they trap the fat molecules inside it and get rid of them from the body with waste as oppose to letting your body store them as a giant “spare tire” around the waist.
Hunger suppressants, such as Pure Hoodia Gordonii (which he has been using) on the other hand work by tricking the brain into thinking the stomach is full. As such, you feel full, eat less and thus effectively reducing the number of calories you take in. What the heck, I thought to myself, let’s try it. So I did what any friend would do, I ask him if I could borrow a bottle of Hoodia Gordoniifrom him to try before I buy.
That was than and this is now. I started a regular exercise program consisting of half hour cardio and twenty minutes of moderate weight lifting along with using Hoodia weight loss supplements. Now, eight months later, I am 49 pounds lighter and feeling great. In fact, the “lighter me” has picked up some extra circular activities such as floor hockey and basketball, things I would never have done before. My social life is good, self-esteem is much better, confidence is high, and darn it I just feel good.
